This is the first LP we have recorded in Norway and also the first one featuring the excellent Finn Sletten on drums as an integrant of the quartet.
The cold days in Oslo, our untiring nocturnal walks, the meetings with new and old friends, your house, Ellen Christensen (sonorus witness of the final adjustments of so many scattered notes), the un-numbered beers drunk with friends at Club 7, the late hour coffee with our dear Luis Gambolini mingled a mixture of a vivid elements that marked our staying in Norway, which culminated in the work here presented.
This record comes as a result of a warmly received series of tours in this country, that were organized by whom believed in us: Bjørg Eriksen.
Thanks Bjørg, thanks to you and to your parents who offered us hospitality and affection.
Håkon: thanks for having contributed generously with your knowledge and some of your free time to find the right sound for this type of music.
Finn: How can you feel so close to such a distant music?
Ruben: You make it possible to believe that depth and fun may well work together.
Guillermo: Since the first time we met, eight years ago, we realized that the link between the two of us was our respective love for this music. Trough all these years we've been friends and collaborator. This record is the faithful reflection of that.
